20 Years After Stonewall is a documentary film of the New York celebration of the Stonewall Revolt. In 1969 a police raid on the Stonewall Inn , ( a gay bar on Christopher Street ) started a three day riot. This was said to be the start of the modern lesbian, gay civil rights movement. The film is made up of excerpts or speeches, and performances from the 1989 Central Park Rally, the 1990 Union Sq. Rally, and the Parades on Fifth Avenue in the years surronding that time.
